HP said Thursday that Marc Andreessen will join its board of directors. Andreessen, co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz and co-founder and chairman of Ning, will join HP's board immediately. The total board members will move from 10 to 11.

eBay is expected to announce today that it has reached a deal to sell its internet telephone service, Skype, to a group of private investors, the New York Times reported on Monday.
